Who We Are

Cameron W. Tyler, Attorney

Cameron W. Tyler has represented injured people, from all walks of life, for the over 23 years. He has successfully conducted dozens of jury trials, court trials, and arbitrations in personal injury cases.

Getting to know my clients is THE key to the best results possible. How can a lawyer present the strongest evidence of your damages without knowing how the injury has affected you – on every level – physically, financially, and emotionally? That's why we win as much as we do; that's why we get good settlements. That's what makes us different from the insurance companies we routinely deal with.

I also strongly believe that regularly taking cases to trial is good for my clients. You get a reputation with the defense lawyers in the state, and the insurance companies.

Personal
Born and raised in northern Vermont, on Lake Champlain. My father was a personal injury lawyer for over 40 years. My wife, Karen Tyler, who is a nurse, worked as a paralegal for my dad, and later with me. We have four children, three sons and a daughter. Karen continues to work in health care. We moved to Boulder, for the first time, in 1980, and we have lived in the same house in Boulder since 1988.

Since 1989, I have been an active board member and officer for Boulder County Community Action Programs and the Community Action Development Corporation. Both organizations provide education and services to low income members of Boulder County -- directly, and by helping fund other non-profits.

Since 1998, I have been involved with the Boulder Nordic Junior Racing Team, a non-profit. As a board member, and president for the last two years, we have gone from a volunteer-coach club with 13 skiers to a 50-plus skier strong organization that won the Colorado Cup last year (best nordic ski team in the state) while sending 10 young racers to the Junior Olympics.

Born in Connersville, Indiana and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. My father is a golf professional and my mother is a homemaker. I moved to Colorado after one year at Northwestern, in Evanston, Illinois. From 1980 through 1990, after graduation from CU, I owned and operated Horsefeathers in Louisville, Colorado making custom show clothes and tack for horse show exhibitors. In 1992 I married my husband, Mark, and we currently own and operate Guynn Training Center, LLC in Berthoud, Colorado where Mark specializes in reining horses.

We are blessed with nine year old twins, Luke and Lindsay. I have served on the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association Board of Directors since 1986, and have served as Youth Advisor for the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association, Rocky Mountain Paint Horse Association, and the Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Association over the past twenty years. My outside interests primarily include the activities of my children, riding, golf, music, and breeding and raising Quarter Horses.
